Abi Aofolaju, author of Little Lessons Big Blessings

About the Author

Abi Aofolaju

Abi Aofolaju is a mother, storyteller, and the founder of Stride Capital — a financial education firm built on nearly two decades of experience in global investment banking. Her career gave her deep insight into how wealth is created, managed, and grown. But it was parenthood that showed her where the real work begins.

Abi noticed that while money touches every part of adult life, most people are never taught how to think about it — certainly not as children. The conversations that shape how we save, give, and plan for the future are often left to chance, picked up in fragments or not at all. She wanted to change that — through stories.

The Little Lessons, Big Blessings Story Series was born from that conviction. Each book introduces one timeless financial principle through a gentle, character-led adventure — designed to be read at bedtime, shared in classrooms, and talked about around the kitchen table. The stories draw on ancient wisdom, presented warmly and inclusively, with a parent and educator discussion guide in every book to help carry the conversation beyond the final page.

Abi writes for children, but she builds for the adults around them. Her vision is to equip parents, teachers, caregivers, and schools with stories that make talking about money feel natural, hopeful, and age-appropriate. She believes that when children learn to save with patience, give with generosity, and grow with purpose, they carry those habits for life.

Three books have been published so far — Save, Give, and Invest — with more planned as the series continues to grow. Each new title builds on the last, creating a journey that develops alongside the child reading it.

At its heart, this series is not about money at all. It is about character — about raising a generation who approach resources with confidence, responsibility, and care. Abi's hope is a simple one: that the small lessons planted today become the big blessings of tomorrow.
